Rosmorport says may sell 75% of Taman port managing firm to STLC

MOSCOW, Mar 19 (PRIME) -- Rosmorport, the operator of most Russian sea ports, may sell 75% of its 100% ownership in RMP-Taman, the managing company of the Taman seaport’s dry handing area, to State Transport Leasing Company (STLC) if the government decides, a spokesperson for Rosmorport told PRIME on Tuesday.

Media reported earlier in March citing sources that STLC may acquire 75% of RMP-Taman to sell stakes to private investors including coal producer Kuzbassrazrezugol, Siberian Coal Energy Company (SUEK), mining company Metalloinvest and Russian Railways.

The spokesperson also said that Kuzbassrazrezugol, SUEK, Metalloinvest and Russian Railways had expressed their intention to act as strategic investors.
